Biography of Gohan

Dragon ball was a manga series which originally came out as a series in a Japanese weekly. It started as long back as 1984 and since then it is very popular. After this series ended it was replaced by dragon ball z. dragon ball z has gained more popularity than the original series. All the characters of this series are popular. They have a lot of fan following. Two of the main characters are Goku and Chi Chi. They have a lot of popularity. But the most popular character is Goku and Chi Chi’s son Gohan. He is the first Saiyan or human hybrid who has gained such popularity.

Goku was born in the age 757, about 1 year after Goku and Chi Chi got married. Gohan did not have a name for a while. But after some time Gohan liked the name of his grandfather and made it his. He had a very well planned childhood. Unlike his father Goku, he did not like to fight. He did not have any ambition or enthusiasm to fight. He was rather a shy character throughout his teenage and was also easily scared. But the character of Gohan grew and matured as the serial grew. The character of Gohan transformed through quite a number of episodes. From a shy and timid character he grew into a powerful fighter.

Gohan had supernatural abilities. He is a half Saiyan so he was also called a Super Saiyan or a Nappa. He was a mixed blood. He had this extraordinary ability to control his chi and thus getting the ability to concentrate all of his energy into one point and then produce energy beams and energy blasts. He also has this ability to concentrate his energy to fly. Along with these super natural powers he also has extraordinary speed and phenomenal strength. As he was growing, his powers were also growing with him and as he passed to the level of Super Saiyan level 2, other characters also helped him to unravel his true potential.

As a kid Gohan never enjoyed fighting. He had supernatural powers but he never liked using them. He was a half Saiyan but he had the power of a full blooded Saiyan. He did not inherit the liking towards fighting from his father Goku. He was rather reluctant towards fighting. When he matured he only fought for one reason that is in order to protect his family and friends. He had a lot of love and loyalty towards the people who he was closes to and could do anything to protect them from any harm. After the death of his father, Gohan was tutored by Piccolo. He loved and admired Piccolo a lot. After the death of Piccolo his rage unleashed the great ape powers in him and he conquered all.
